Turning twelve is a monumental birthday. There are many birthdays that are significant, like the first birthday obviously. Then there is sweet sixteen--kinda hard to compete with that one. Turning twenty one has it's own significance. I hated turning thirty but am looking forward to forty with no reservations.
Turning twelve is the best of both worlds- still a kid, but you are teetering on the brink of the teenage years. Twelve lets you enjoy some advantages of both world's.
So, with much joy we celebrated Virginia's twelfth birthday on Friday.
There was so much we did:
The cake had a blue dye that stained our lips and teeth blue-- pretty!
What's a party without your pals?
Bowling was an adventure.
And dinner at Little Tokyo's was delicious
We ended the night with ice cream at Scoops!
Happy Birthday Virginia! We love you!
